The Department of medical oncology deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and systemic treatment of cancer in a multidisciplinary way using standard treatment protocols.

Scope of services :

1) Inpatient and daycare chemotherapy administration
2) Administration of monoclonal antibodies, immunotherapies, targeted therapies, and hormonal treatment
3) Bone marrow aspiration and biopsy
4) Care of central line and Picc line
5) Intrathecal, intrapleural, and intraperitoneal administration of chemotherapy
6) Diagnostic and therapeutic thoracocentesis and paracentesis
7) Multidisciplinary tumor board for the management of difficult case scenarios
8) Individualised cancer screening using standard guidelines
9) administration of blood and blood components
10) Dedicated Pain and palliative care unit
