Fellowship Programs in Neonatology
Iqraa International Hospital & Research Centre proudly offers two prestigious fellowship programs in Neonatology under the aegis of the National Neonatology Forum (NNF) and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) and is conducted in our 22-bedded Level 3A NNF-accredited Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)*.
Our NNF Fellowship has been running successfully since 2018. We offer two fellowship seats per year with intake in July.
IAP Fellowship commenced in 2024, with an annual intake of one candidate every January.
Program Highlights:
- Level 3A certified NICU with state-of-the-art facilities
- Structured teaching program with thrice weekly academic sessions and seminars along with monthly perinatology meetings
- Exposure to critical care protocols and research opportunities
- Provides comprehensive hands-on training in advanced neonatal care, including high-frequency ventilation, therapeutic hypothermia, point-of-care ultrasonography, and functional echocardiography.
- Attached pediatric cardiology, genetics and pediatric surgery units
- Exposure to very tiny premises from 23 weeks of gestation and all neonatal surgical cases
Duration:
- 1 year for candidates with MD/DNB Pediatrics
- 1.5 years for candidates with DCH
Both fellowships are designed to build competence and confidence in managing critically ill neonates including extreme preterms and to shape future leaders in Neonatology.
